WHYNOT at National Restaurant Association Show 2018

Sanden Vendo America exhibited at the National Restaurant Association Show 2018 https://show.restaurant.org/ the largest restaurant show of its kind in the United States, held in Chicago from May 19-22. At the show, Sanden Vendo primarily showcased two products: Kuraban, an innovative refrigeration system, and the WHYNOT Wine Saver, a new wine preservation and dispensing solution.

Kuraban is a refrigeration system that is equipped with patented NTEFE (Non-Thermal Electric Field Energy) technology. This achieves 3-10 times longer storage of food over traditional refrigerators. At Sanden Vendo America’s booth, beef aged in the Kuraban was presented in a cooking demonstration. Visitors compared the taste of newly-purchased beef and three month aged-beef and were impressed by the great flavor, taste, tenderness, and juiciness of the latter.

Visitors also tasted wine served from the WHYNOT Wine Saver. WHYNOT is a wine saver which incorporates FreshKeep technology™ to prevent exposing the wine to oxygen even after uncorking, keeping it fresh until it is poured. Restaurant and wine bar owners were enthusiastic about the product, and the Sanden Vendo booth was crowded with attendees throughout the show.
